Warriors Fall To St. Cloud State

ST. CLOUD, MN -- No. 20-ranked Winona State University closed out its regular season with an 100-81 loss to St. Cloud State University in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play at Halenbeck Hall.
The game was marred with 62 total fouls in the game and St. Cloud to advantage with a 35-for-47 effort from the free throw line. The Warriors were not bad from the line either, connecting on 27 of 32 attempts.
For the game, Winona State was outscored 42-33 in the first 20 minutes of play and 58-48 in the second half.
WSU did finish with four players in double figures, as
David Johnson came up with a team-high 19 points,
Luke Doedens netted 13 and
Travis Whipple and
Jon Walburg each finished with 10 points.
