Carson Walch was one of the best all-around athletes in the history of the Warrior football program. Walch was a Harlon Hill Regional Finalist in 2000 and was named a Football Gazette All-American in 1998 and 1999, as well as a USA Football.com All-American in 1999. Walch was one of the most successful special teams performers the program has ever seen, holding the single-season record for punt return yardage with 478, the second-most career punt return yards with 822, and the fourth-most career all-purpose yards with 4,826. Walch was as dynamic as a running back as a return man, rushing for the 10th most yards in program history with 1,759 and scored the eighth-most touchdowns with 31.
