Charles Weisbrod was baseball standout who ended his career with a 24-8 record and sparkling 2.79 ERA. He led the Warriors to conference, area and district championships in 1961, 1962 and 1963, with all three of those squads advancing to the NAIA World Series. Weisbrod went 6-2 with a 1.64 ERA as a junior in 1962 and was 9-2 with a 2.48 ERA in 1963. Weisbrod was also a four-year member of the WSU basketball team.
