Dan Thill finished his Winona State career as the program's leading rusher, gaining 2,383 yards on the ground from 1971-74. His 930 yards in 1973 set a school record while finishing his career with all-conference honors as well. Thill's 197 yards rushing against Moorhead State in 1973 were a school record at the time and the back finished his career with four 120-yard games.
