Zellmann, an accounting graduate, was a senior and captain of the first championship Warriors men’s basketball team in 2006. During the 2005-06 season, he was named a Daktronics Third Team All-American, Division II Bulletin All-American Third Team, and Basketball Times All-American. In that same season, he was NABC All-Region First Team, Daktronics All-Region First Team and NCAA Central Region MVP.
Zellmann was named to the NCAA Elite Eight All-Tournament Team during the Warriors run to the National Championship. During his career, he earned several NSIC honors; including four NSIC All-Conference honors, being named the NSIC Newcomer of the Year, NSIC Tournament MVP in 2006, and NSIC All-Tournament in ‘05 and ‘06. Currently, Zellmann ranks second all-time in scoring (2,059 points) and third in three-point field goals made.
He, and his wife, Emily, and their three children, Geroge, Ben and Sophia, reside in Evans, Georgia.
