The most accomplished passer in Winona State history, Jake Goettl holds school records for career passing yards (7,568), touchdown passes (64) and total offense (7.947). The 1998 NSIC Offensive Most Valuable Player, Goettl led the Warriors to conference championships as both a junior and senior, going 18-6 in league play during his four-year career. Goettl capped his outstanding career in 1998 with first team All-American honors to go along with his conference MVP award. He was also a three-time All-NSIC performer.
