Krupke was a NAIA All Mid-American, NIC All-Conference, Team Captain and led the Warrior football team to a conference Championship in 1983. He graduated from Winona State with a degree in physical education.
Krupke is currently a Recruiting Specialist for Next College Student Athlete - NCSA - where he educates and assists families and future College Student Athletes in the College Football recruiting process.
In 2016, Krupke was the recipient of the Will Smith Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by N.C.S.A. Krupke also spent time as a physical education, football, wrestling and track coach at Downers Grove South High School in Illinois following commencement from Winona State. As a life-long Warrior supporter, he established the Illinois Warrior Football Scholarship which has been awarded for the past five years.
He and his wife, Lee Ann, reside in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
