Liz Narten was the first player in Winona State soccer history to earn All-American honors, helping set the standard for Warriors to follow. In 84 career games, Narten scored 29 goals and handed out 26 assists while being named the NSIC's Player of the Year in 2000 and an All-American the following season. She was a three-time all-conference performer while helping lead the Warriors to NSIC regular season and tournament titles in 1999, 2000 and 2002. Narten also helped lead Winona State to the 2001 NCAA Regional Tournament, the first postseason appearance in program history.
