Kaitlyn Long (Fr – Cottage Grove, WI) improved on her national standing in the weight throw this weekend, winning the St Thomas Showcase.  Long threw the 20 pound weight 64’ 3 ¼” (19.59m) which won the meet and places her firmly atop the NSIC with the next best throw over 5’ shorter than hers.  She improved to an automatic qualifying standard for the division 2 championships and currently sits 4th in D2 and 37th among all collegians of any division.
