After a stellar senior year that saw her finish second at the ITA Central Region in September and lead the Warriors to a runner-up finish at the NSIC Team Championship, Heather Pierce has been selected as NSIC Player of the Year.

Pierce finished the season 17-2 at the No. 1 singles spot and was undefeated in conference play. Pierce is currently ranked second individually in the Central Region Rankings.

Pierce was the driving force behind the Warriors trip to the NSIC Team Championship final, helping the Warriors beat MSU Moorhead and second seed Upper Iowa. The team fell in the final to conference regular season champion Augustana.
