Erin Kappers had an outstanding weekend for the Warriors, going 5-0 with a pair of wins over regionally ranked foes. Kappers beat Upper Iowa’s Amanda Nunez 7-6 6-7, 10-6, the region’s second ranked player, in singles and also added a doubles win over Nunez and Jennah Smith as the Warriors beat Upper Iowa 6-3. She earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over MSU Moorhead’s Kayla Heuther before beating Augustana’s Katie Jesperson, 7-5, 7-6, the fourth ranked player in the region. Kappers teamed with Leah Dahl to beat Jesperson in doubles play as well.
