WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University men's basketball team added a student-athlete signee to their program beginning in 2022, as announced by
Todd Eisner.
Tyler Borowski, a 6'2" guard from Appleton, Wis., signed with the men's basketball program on signing day. Borowski is a point guard that averaged 14 points and four assists per game during his junior campaign, including a career-high of 31 against Neenah.
"We are extremely excited to add Tyler to the Warrior Basketball Family! Tyler is a taller point guard that plays extremely hard and is very competitive on both ends of the floor. Appleton East HS plays in a great league in the Fox Valley Association and his game really impressed us this spring and summer while playing for the Wisconsin Crusaders club program," noted Coach Eisner. "Tyler fit in really well with our players when he and his mom visited campus for our first football game and I think he possesses the work ethic, toughness and leadership intangibles we want in our program and to play the point guard position. I look forward to watching Tyler have an outstanding senior season!"
The Warriors open their 2021-22 season this weekend at the Central Region Challenge where they will take on Pittsburg State and Henderson State.
