MINOT, N.D. – The Winona State University men's basketball team overcame a one-point deficit at the to break to run past Minot State in the second half for a 67-58 Warrior win.
Connor Drew scored 20 points and 
Connor Dillon added 16 to the WSU scoreline as Winona State outscored the host Beavers 39-29 in the final 20 minutes to claim their second-straight NSIC victory.
As a team, Winona State was 25-of-62 (40.3%) from the floor and hit 5-of-16 (31.3%) 3-point attempts. WSU was 12-of-17 (70.6%) from the free throw line and forced Minot State into 15 turnovers, while committing just four. 
Owen King led the Warrior defensive effort with four steals.
Connor Dillon was 8-of-10 from the free throw line en route to his 16 points and 
Connor Dillon was 9-of-14 from the floor in his 20-point night while also leading WSU in rebounds with six. 
Luke Martens also reached double digits with 13 points, helping Winona State claim their sixth win in the last seven contests against MSU.  
Minot State was led by Khari Broadway with 11 points. Michael Jok was the top Beaver rebounder with nine boards.
With the win, Winona State moves to 11-7 overall and 6-7 in NSIC play.  WSU will look to close out their NSIC weekend in North Dakota with a win at the University Mary on Saturday, Jan. 21.  The Marauders and Warriors are set to start at 3:30 p.m. in the McDowell Activity Center.
