Connor Dillon earns Second Team All-NSIC honors

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Connor Dillon has earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Second Team All-Conference honors after an impressive 2022-23 campaign, as announced by the league office.
 
Dillon, a sophomore from Peoria, Ill., led Winona State in scoring with 18.7 points per game. Shooting at a clip of 41.7% from the field and 30.0% from beyond the arc, Dillon averaged 7.0 field goals a game including 2.3 made 3-pointers each game. Starting in all 27 games, Dillon also added 4.2 rebounds/game and 2.3 assists per game.
 
Throughout the season, Dillon notched one 30-point game and eclipsed the 20-point mark in 15 games, while scoring in double figures in 25 of 27 games. He set a career-high with 30 points in a win over (RV) Minnesota Duluth on Jan. 14.
 
Within the ranks of the NSIC, Dillon was seventh in scoring (18.7 ppg), 10th in 3-point field goals per game (2.3), and second in minutes per game (35.9).
 
Dillon helped lead the Warriors to a 15-12 (10-12 NSIC) record during the 2022-23 season and was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for his performances on the court and in the classroom.
