Brock Voigt hits 1,000 point mark, Winona State men's basketball falls at Minot State

MINOT, N.D. - The Winona State University men's basketball team took on nationally-ranked Minot State on Saturday, January 20, competing against the backdrop of a Warrior win over UMary the night before and taking on a Beaver squad just 24 hours removed from their upset of No. 1 ranked Minnesota State. 

Brock Voigt led Winona State (10-8, 5-7 NSIC) in scoring with 20 points on the evening - and moved to an even 1,000 points scored in his career - but WSU was unable to take advantage of the upset opportunity against the Beavers, falling 77-70 on the road. 

Brock's milestone mark came on a 10-of-13 night from the floor in a game in which he also led WSU in rebounds with seven. Drew Adams added 15 points off the bench, including a 4-of-4 effort at the foul line.
