WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is excited to announce three events occurring in October 2024.

SAAC will once again host the Zombie Crawl for elementary-aged children and younger on Sunday, October 20, from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Maxwell Field (McCown Gymnasium in case of inclement weather).  Kids (and their parents!) are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and participate in activities set up by each of the Warrior teams.  This event is free, and healthy snacks will be provided.

On October 31, all Warrior student-athletes will go door-to-door from 6:00pm-7:00pm to collect non-perishable food items to be donated to Winona Volunteer Services and Warrior Cupboard – both groups support those dealing with food insecurity. 

Lastly, Warriors Fight t-shirts and other merchandise will be sold at all home contests during October, with proceeds going to the Winona Health mammography department.
