WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State men's basketball team is set to be on the road for their first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) weekend, facing off against Augustana University on Friday, December 6 at 7:30pm and Wayne State College on Saturday, December 7 at 5:30pm.
Winona State is off to a great start this season, beginning 6-1, 1-0 NSIC gave them notice from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) receiving 14 votes in the latest poll.
(RV) Winona State (6-1, 1-0 NSIC) has won four straight games against Augustana, the most recent game coming on February 9 in McCown Gymnasium with the Warriors winning 80-67.Similarly, against WSC the Warriors have won three straight games, most recently defeating them at home 73-65.
