Women's Track and Field Luke Martens

WSU track & field competes at Dick & Mary Johnson Invitational

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Winona State University track and field team competed at the Dick & Mary Johnson Invitational on Saturday, April 27, hosted by the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

Jenna Anders earned a first place finish in the 800-meter with a time of 2:18.08 finishing two seconds ahead of the second place finisher Sydney Resiner from the University of Wisconsin Stout. Regan Feit earned another Warrior first-place finish for the Warriors in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.00.

Billie Wagner and Rachel Hoffman ran in the 1500-meter with Wagner finishing in third place with a time of 4:54.79 and Hoffman finishing right behind in fourth with a time of 4:55.04. In the high jump Warrior Mari Mohling finished third place with a jump of 1.58

Also competing ths weekend was Kaylee Beyer at the 114th Drake Relays. Beyer ran in the women's 5000m run and placing tenth overall with a time of 16:09.93. Beyer was the top division II finisher in the race.

Winona State will next compete in the Maverick Open, hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato on Wednesday, May 1. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Championships are schedule for May 9-11 in Mankato, Minnesota.
