Connor Drew led the Warriors with 25 points in their first home game of 2025, shortly behind him was freshman Tyler Mason with 19 on 4-10 shooting from beyond the arc.

How it Happened:

The Warriors would start the contest on fire going 3-3 from the three-point line jumping out to an early lead. The Golden Eagles would keep the game within shooting distance, but four quick points on paint touches from Connor Drew would put the score at 20-15 at the ten-minute media timeout. Knocking down three more shots from beyond the arc, as the halftime buzzer sounded, Winona State saw themselves up 36-34.

The second half began with an 11-2 run for WSU with Connor Drew and Luke Haertle scoring for the Warriors. From that point on Winona State wouldn't look back extending the lead to 17 points after a pair of free throws from Jhei-R Jones and a Mikail Harmison shot from beyond the arc. Minnesota Crookston would try and cut the lead, but the Warriors had a response to every shot the Golden Eagles made, winning the game 80-64.
