WINONA, Minn. - Winona State University men's basketball team is back in McCown Gymnasium for contests on January 17th and 18th.
The Warriors, who are 8-3 in the NSIC and 13-4 overall will look to get a pair of wins against St. Cloud State on Friday, January 17th at 5:30pm and Minnesota State University, Moorhead on Saturday, January 18th at 3:30pm.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors hold a 13-4 record so far this season and are 8-3 in the NSIC.
- Winona State is second in the conference in opponent field goal percentage, holding teams to 41.1% on the season.
- Isaiah Thompson hauls in 9.9 rebounds per game, good for second in the NSIC and tied for 16th nationally.

- The Huskies head coach and Winona State alum Quincy Henderson enters his third season at the helm of the St. Cloud State squad.
- As a team SCSU is shooting 44.7% from the floor and 34.2% from three-point range.
- Nate Dahl leads the Huskies in scoring at 13.1 points per game.
- Leading St. Cloud State in rebounding is Wyatt Hawks at 8.2 per game.
- St. Cloud State is coming off a loss to Minnesota Duluth, but beat (RV) Concordia-St. Paul 93-89 earlier in the week.
Minnesota State Moorhead Notes:
- Minnesota State Moorhead holds a 10-6 record overall and 5-5 in the NSIC.
- Tim Bergstraser enters his third season as head coach of the Dragons.
- Jacob Beeninga leads MSUM in scoring at 17.7 points per game.
- Averaging 7.9 rebounds per game, Jacob Jennissen leads the Dragons in rebounding.
- Minnesota State University, Moorhead most recently faced off against Sioux Falls, dropping the contest 81-76.
