WINONA, Minn. - Winona State University men's basketball team hits the road for a single game against Northern State at 4pm on January 25. 

The Warriors, who are 8-5 in the NSIC and 13-6 overall will look to get a win against Northern State University on Saturday, January 25 inside Wachs Arena. 

Winona State Notes:  

• The Warriors hold a 13-6 record so far this season and are 8-5 in the NSIC.   
• Isaiah Thompson hauls in 9.8 rebounds per game, good for second in the NSIC and tied for 15th nationally.   
• Thompson was the second Warrior this year to reach the 1,000-point mark joining his frontcourt teammate Connor Drew. 
• Luke Haertle is averaging 17.1 points per game, putting him third in the NSIC.   
• Winona State is first in the NSIC from the charity stripe shooting 75.7% on the year.  
• The Warriors won their last matchup on the road against Northern State in thrilling fashion with WSU hitting a buzzer beater to win it.  

Northern State Notes:   

• NSU holds a 1-17 record on the year, 0-12 in the NSIC.   
• The Wolves head coach Saul Phillips enters his sixth season at the helm of the Northern State squad.   
• As a team NSU is shooting 42.7% from the floor and 34.9% from three-point range.   
• Jame Glenn leads the Wolves in scoring at 13.0 points per game.   
• Leading Northern State in rebounding is Tobi Obiora at 5.4 per game.  
• Northern State is coming off a loss to Sioux Falls 81-71 last week. 
• NSU's only win this season came on November 19 against Dakota State, winning the contest 81-71.
