WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University men's basketball will open the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, February 26 as they host Wayne State at 6:00pm in McCown Gymnasium.
Fans, please note NSIC Tournament ticket prices are as follows: $10 General Admission, $2 Students, Children under 5 are free. Ticket prices are set by the NSIC and regular season passes do not apply to NSIC Tournament contests. The first 250 Winona State students with a valid ID are free, courtesy of President Janz and the Winona State University Foundation.Â
Within the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference postseason picture, the winner of Wednesday's contest will move on to the quarterfinal round at the Sanford Pentagon on March 1 at 7:00pm.
Winona State Notes:
- Winona State finished the regular season with a 19-9 record overall and 14-8 inside the NSIC receiving the #7 seed in the NSIC Tournament.
- Todd Eisner is in his tenth season as head coach of the Winona State squad.
- Luke Haertle leads the Warriors in scoring at 17.4 points per game, good for fourth in the NSIC.
- Isaiah Thompson collects 8.9 rebounds per game to pace WSU.
- As a team Winona State shoots 45.5% from the field and 34.5% from beyond the arc.

- Wayne State holds a 16-12 record overall and 10-12 inside the NSIC receiving the #10 seed in the NSIC Tournament.
- Matt Noll leads WSC in scoring at 13.1 points per game while also collecting 4.4 rebounds per game.
- Cody McCullough averages 7.2 rebounds per game to lead the Wildcats.
- Wayne State College shoots 45.3% from the floor and 33.3% from three-point range.
- The Wildcats have three players average 10 points or more per game.
