INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Winona State men's basketball team earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
The Warriors are 21-10 and reached the NSIC Tournament semifinals for the second consecutive year. Winona State will square off against No. 6 seed Southwest Minnesota State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 15 with game time to be determined. The Central Region Tournament will be hosted by Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.
This will be the first time Winona State will appear in the NCAA Tournament since 2014. The Warriors have two NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Titles, coming in 2006 and 2008.
