KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and the NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players. The Warriors earned the award as a team and three student-athletes were honored.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Warriors earned the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for outstanding academic achievement.

Jhei-R Jones, and
Tyler Borowski were named to the NABC Honors Court.

Todd Eisner on the team and individuals earning the award: "We are very proud of the outstanding work our players did in the classroom throughout the 2024-2025 school year. Our program has achieved the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award in each of the ten years we have been at Winona State. It is important that our players strive to excel in the classroom as well as on the court. Congratulations to Connor, Jhei-R and Tyler for the individual recognition each received from the NABC for their academic achievements this past school year. All three of these young men worked extremely hard in the classroom and represented our program as true STUDENT-athletes."
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
