WINONA, Minn. – Winona State Athletics announced the hiring of Noah Schlekeway as the Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communications.
Schlekeway comes to Winona State University after serving as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Norfolk State University, an NCAA Division I institution in Norfolk, Va., since June 2024. Prior, Schlekeway spent two years as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Wayne State College, where he holds a B.S. and M.S. In addition, Schlekeway has contributed to several high-profile events, including the NAIA Men's Basketball Championships, NCAA Regional and National Tournaments, the Summit League Basketball Tournament, and Volleyball Day in Nebraska.

In his role at Winona State, Schlekeway will lead all athletic communication efforts for WSU's 15 varsity athletic programs through social media, press releases, statistics, game day communications, and maintaining the WSU Athletics website.
