ST. PAUL, Minn. --- The Winona State men's cross country team competed in its second event of the season, finishing 12th overall and third among NCAA Division II programs at the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday morning.
 
The Warriors scored 396 points with finishes of 69-74-78-85-90. Iowa State won the meet with 24 points, while Winona State finished behind the Minnesota Running Club and ahead of Minot State.
 
Wyatt Harmoning led the Warriors, finishing 111th overall with a time of 26:12.70. Ryan Karls followed in 126th with a time of 26:30.10.
 
Senior Jacob Lanzara placed 132nd with a time of 26:36.70, while Calvin Redker finished 147th in 27:07.60. Carter Zimmerman closed out the Warriors' scoring five, placing 156th with a time of 27:24.40.
