ST. PAUL, Minn. --- The No. 13 Winona State women's cross country team finished sixth overall and led all NCAA Division II programs at the 40th annual Roy Griak Invitational on Friday morning at Fort Snelling Golf Course.
 
The Warriors scored 182 points with finishes of 7-10-47-55-63 to lead the Division II field. The University of Minnesota won the event with 26 points, while Winona State finished 15 points behind Wisconsin-La Crosse for fifth.
 
Stella Rusch led the Warriors, finishing seventh overall and first among Division II runners with a time of 20:05.50. Kelsey Young followed in 10th with a time of 20:10.50.
 
Freshman Sabrina Lechnir finished 56th for the Warriors with a time of 21:28.00, while Kelly McCarthy placed 76th in 21:46.60. Emily Meyer rounded out the Warriors' scoring five, finishing 92nd with a time of 22:09.80.
