Hit .305 in 48 games while making 47 starts ... five home runs and 30 RBI ... recorded 43 hits ... struck out just 13 times in 141 at bats.

Started 61 games as a freshman ... fourth on team with 60 hits ... hit .337 in 178 at bats ... recorded seven home runs and 34 RBI ... hit 11 doubles ... successful on three of four stolen base attempts.
