Jason Gorman

Jason Gorman is entering his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Winona State University men’s basketball program.

Gorman was on the bench for Winona State’s 2008 NCAA Division II National Championship. He also helped the Warriors set an NCAA Division II record with 57 consecutive victories.

He has been part of a staff that has led the Warriors to five appearances in the NCAA Tournament in the last six years. Gorman has helped the Warriors win a pair of NSIC Championships and three NSIC Tournament titles.

He has been on the bench for two of the top four seasons in program history, helping the team win 38 games during the 2007-08 season and 25 games last year. Winona State has a 127-35 record (.784) during his time on the bench.

Gorman holds a degree in Physical Education from Winona State and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Sports Management at WSU.

Gorman graduated from Marshfield (Wisconsin) Columbus High School where he lettered three years in football, basketball and baseball and lettered once in soccer. He was an  all-area selection in basketball and football as well as all-conference in basketball, football and baseball.
