Mathieu Oesterle joined the Athletic Communications staff in August 2026.
The Bangor,WI native joined the staff after completing his Bachelors in Sport Management at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. During his time at La Crosse, he was a member of the Sport Management Association for three years. Mathieu worked as a Media Relations/Communications Assistant at UW-La Crosse from 2024 to 2026. He then worked for the UW-La Crosse football team as a Student Assistant for the summer of 2026 before joining the Winona State Athletic Communications staff.
Mathieu is responsible for all athletic communication staff efforts which include, social media, statistics, press releases, video production, and maintaining the Winona State Athletics website for all 15 NCAA athletic programs at Winona State.
