Winona State Warriors

Taylor Haan joins the Winona State volleyball staff with a playing and coaching background that spans every level of the game.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Haan was a state champion at Sunnyslope High School and played club volleyball at Arizona Storm — one of the nation's premier Club programs. She took her game to the collegiate level at East Stroudsburg University, where she played under current Winona State Head Coach Tricia Melfy and earned All-Conference honors as a setter.  While at East Stroudsburg, Taylor earned a Bachelors of Science is Psychology,  and plans to pursue her Masters Degree in Children’s Psychology.  

After graduating, Haan returned to Arizona Storm to coach their 11U program for a year — deepening her passion for player development — before joining Coach Melfy's staff at Winona State.

Now coaching alongside her sister, outside hitter Zoe Haan, Taylor brings a unique perspective to the Warriors program — one shaped by experience as a club athlete, college competitor, and youth coach.
