Reel Wins Augustana Twilight

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Winona State men's cross country team traveled to Sioux Falls, S.D. to compete at the Augustana Twilight Invitational. Seth Reel earned a first place finished to start off his senior season with a time of 18:54.50.
 
Reel's time was the second fastest time if you factor in the 30 Division I runners at the meet.
 
Junior Charles Schauer crossed the finish line with a time of 20:31.64, finishing 61st. Sophomore Jesse Frank crossed next with a time of 20:38.19 finishing 65th.
 
Reed Parent finished 73rd with a time of 20:44.65. Freshman Garrett Zakrzewski came in 127th place with a time of 21:29.87. Junior Jake Wald had a 173rd place finish with a time of 22:26.96. Junior Max Gonzalez finished 187th with a time of 22:49.15.
 
The Warriors will be back on the trail Friday September 23rd, for a 9:50a.m. start at the Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
