Team Effort Leads Warriors to 13th Place

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The women's cross country team finished 13th as a team this morning at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational on the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, MN.
 
The Warriors were led by junior Raissa Hansen with a time of 24:07.2, earning her a 31st place finish. Not far behind, senior Heidi Hujik finished with a time of 24:57.2, earning 73rd place and a few strides back came junior Hannah Lewis with a time of 25:02.5 landing her in 78th place.
 
Freshman Olivia Anger crossed the line with a 25:27.5 and senior Amanda Kaiser finished with a 25:25.9. Rounding out the Warrior runners were, junior McKenzie Fortier finishing with a time of 25:44.8 and junior McKenzie Carper with a time of 26:05.2.
 
The Warriors will be running next weekend at the Blugold Invitational in Colfax, WI on September 30th for a 5:15 p.m. start.
