INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The second NCAA DII Volleyball Regional Rankings have been released, and Winona State University remains in the playoff picture for the second straight week at No. 7 in the Central Region.
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) has six teams of the top 10 teams ranked in the region, including No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul and No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State.
The NSIC, Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) and Great American Conference (GAC) make up the 40-team NCAA Central Region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA Regional Tournament on November 30-Decemeber 2.
Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the GAC, MIAA and NSIC postseason tournaments, with the remaining five spots awarded on an at-large basis.
The NCAA DII Volleyball selection show will be streamed online on Monday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
Winona State (19-7) is ranked No. 15 in this week's AVCA Coaches' Poll and enters the final week of the regular season on a five-match winning streak, including three victories over Top 25 opponents.
The Warriors' conclude the regular season with road matches at Minnesota Moorhead and No. 7 Northern State this weekend.
