Flom named NSIC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for second time this month

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University junior Megan Flom has been on a tear of late and has once again been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

The middle blocker/outside hitter recorded a .516 attacking percentage over three matches (two wins) for WSU last week. Flom floored 51 kills (5.1 kills/set) while committing just four attacking errors. She tallied a career-best .575 hitting percentage in a win over No. 5 CSP to begin the week and has posted a hitting percentage of .500 or better in four of her last six matches.

Flom also added two aces, four digs and eight blocks to her impressive stat line for the week.

Flom currently leads the NSIC with a .397 attacking percentage and ranks eighth in the league in kills/set (3.93). The junior's attacking percentage ranks among the top 10 in the country.

No. 20 Winona State (15-4, 7-4 NSIC) returns to its home court inside McCown Gymnasium this weekend for a pair of conference matches beginning Friday night at 6 p.m. against UMary.
