A surging second quarter by CSP (5-1, 1-1 NSIC South) led to a hole that WSU (4-2, 1-1 NSIC South) could not dig out of, as the Golden Bears outscored the Warriors 21-11 in the second ten-minutes of play. Unfortunately, the fourth quarter was also unfavorable to WSU, with Concordia – St. Paul racking up 28 final frame points.

Ava Sergio had seven points off the bench on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting evening. It was a night to forget from 3-point land for Winona State, with
Mattie Schimenz connecting on the only triple of the evening in twenty team attempts.
CSP was 33-of-71 from the floor, good for 46.5% overall and was 35.0% from behind the arc. The Golden Bears earned 22 points on Winona State turnovers. WSU hauled in 33 rebounds as a team and was 5-of-6 from the foul line.
