WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University soccer team heads west for a single-game road trip, taking on Southwest Minnesota State on Friday, Oct.. 13 at 5 p.m..

Winona State (2-5-4, 1-4-3 NSIC) will be looking to move up the NSIC standings against Southwest Minnesota State (2-5-4, 1-4-3 NSIC) as the two squads take to the turf at Schawn's Regional Stadium. 
 
The Warriors nationally ranked Minnesota State  last Sunday, holding the Mavericks to a 0-0 tie behind a 10-save performance by Alyson Jumper in goal and notable outing by the Winona State defense.

WINONA STATE STORYLINES 

Winona State owns a 31-1-4 mark over SMSU, dating back to Sep. 8, 1996.

The Warriors have earned a win, a draw and a loss in the last three outings versus the Mustangs. 

WSU has earned four shutouts so far this season. 

WSU returns a trio of key attacking players who factored heavily in goal production last fall; Reanne WeilMadelynn Drasher, and Abigail Williams look to lead the Warriors.
