MANKATO, Minn. - A
Regan Feit runner-up finish highlighted the Winona State track team performance at the 2023 Chuck Peterson Open, hosted by Minnesota State University in Mankato on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Feit competed in the 400 meters, running a time of 58.32 to finish second overall. Minnesota State's Elizabeth Schmidt won the event with a time of 58.12 while her Maverick teammate Eilika Lane was third at 58.61.Â
Lainey Lipschultz earned a fifth-place finish in the same event with a time of 100.37, finishing just ahead Warrior teammate
Alyssa Larson at 1:00.52.Â
Other top-5 Winona State finishes on the day in Myers Field House included Reichenberger's 60-meter hurdle effort (4th overall / 8.97) and
Kaylee Olson's fourth place long jump effort at 5.49 meters.Â
Also in the field events,
Mari Mohling earned fifth overall with a 1.55 meter high jump mark.Â
As a team, Winona State earned 34 points. WSU will return to action on Friday, January 12 when they compete in the Bearson/Gathje Classic, hosted by Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minn.Â
