WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University softball team will travel for a pair of NSIC softball doubleheaders, with changes to the original dates, times and locations for both sets of contests.
The Warriors will face the University of Minnesota Duluth on Friday, April 14, beginning at 1pm in Malosky Stadium. On Sunday, April 16, WSU will take on St. Cloud State, with the doubleheader hosted at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota. First pitch for the Warriors and Huskies will be at noon.

Mady Stariha and Lauren Dixon hover around the 20-game mark in terms of appearances in the circle. Stariha is 6-2 with a 1.40 ERA while Dixon is 10-3 with a 1.69 ERA.

Abbie Hlas was named the 2023 NSIC Preseason Player-of-the-Year by coaches around the league.
Head coach
Greg Jones entered the 2023 NCAA Division II season 13th among active coaches in victories (891) and seventh in winning percentage (.747) and reached the 900-career win milestone at The Spring Games in March.
