WINONA, Minn. - Following an impressive 2023 outdoor track & field season for Winona State, five WSU student-athletes have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors.
All-Region honors for the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday, May 18 by the USTFCCCA following the conclusion of the regular season. The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors. This year, seven of those awards were earned by five different Warriors.
Kaylee Beyer earned honors for both the 800m and the 1500m, while Lindsay Cunningham also doubled up on the award, receiving mention in both the 5000m and 10000m. Brooklyn Schyvinck was recognized for her performance in the 400m hurdles, while McKenna Taylor and Shereen Vallabouy earned the award for the steeplechase and 400m, respectively.
As a team, Winona State earned 82 points at the 2023 NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held over May 11-13 in St. Paul, Minn., claiming third place overall as a program.
