TWO WARRIORS EARN NCAA DII INDOOR TRACK & FIELD ALL-REGION HONORS

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Ella Schueler and Sophia Taarud earned 2026 NCAA DII Indoor All-Region status, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. Schueler earned USTFCCCA All-Region in the Triple Jump while Taarud earned it in the 5000 meters.

Schueler, a freshman from Waukesha, Wis., set the school record for the triple jump at 40' 7" (12.37m) this year. Her record setting triple jump was enough to net her a second-place finish at the Mark Schuck Open and Multi. Schueler is currently tied for eighth in Division II and will compete in the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships this weekend.

Taarud, a graduate student from Farmington, Minn., ran a time of 16:39.65 in the 5000 meters at the Chuck Peterson Open earlier this season. Her time is the second-best time in school history in the event.

Schueler will be the lone representative for the Warriors at the Indoor National Championships this weekend. The triple jump is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14th at 2:30pm.
