Beyer was one of the top Warriors in terms of production last year, playing in 36 games with a .272 batting average, 24 RBI, and 4 home runs. The Senior infielder from Plover, Wisconsin was spoken highly of by coach Wing where he stated, “Austin is an extremely high-character student-athlete that does everything a college baseball program asks of him on and off the field. He has a high ceiling offensively and I'm excited to see what kind of role he can play in our lineup during his senior season.”
Tveite was tabbed pitcher to watch for the Warriors, “Peter has an electric arm and can pitch in any role within our pitching staff. He brings a fun-loving and competitive spirit on gamedays that enhances our team camaraderie. Peter can be a game changer for us and excited to see what he can accomplish this season.” said coach Wing about Tveite and this upcoming season.
The Winona State pitching corps includes several other experienced returners, including Chandler Schmidt, Nevin Wall, and Peyton Lee. All played a key factor on last year's team.
