BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University ended the 2025-26 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Sports standings in third.
The Warriors tallied 142.5 points throughout the school year, finishing behind Minnesota State (226.5) and Augustana (180). WSU finished second in the women's standings and tenth in the men's. Winona State was the highest finisher among institutions who offer less than 18 sports.
Winona State boasted team championships in Women's Cross Country, Softball, and Men's Golf during 2025-2026. This is the highest finish for WSU since the 2021-2022 school year.
WSU remains just one of four institutions to earn the NSIC All-Sports Award in its 25+ year history.
The NSIC All Sports Award is calculated by awarding the winner of each conference-sponsored championship points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.
