MINOT, N.D. - The Winona State University women's basketball team wrapped up an NSIC weekend at Minot State on Saturday, January 20, taking on the Beavers in the MSU Dome.
Alex Dornfeld earned a double-double for Winona State (5-12, 4-8 NSIC) and had Warrior teammate Oliva Gamoke score 17 points but WSU was unable to overcome a slow start in the first quarter, falling to Minot State (6-15, 3-9 NSIC) on the road.

Winona State enjoyed a 24 point third quarter, but was held to single-digits in scoring in the other three frames.

Both teams had nearly identical 3-point shooting marks, with MSU making just 6-of-24 while WSU was 7-of-25.
