WINONA, Minn - Steven Drange was an eight-time letter winner during his time at Winona State University. He was a four-year member of both the Football and Wrestling programs. Drange graduated from Winona State in 1968 with degrees in Industrial Education and Physical Education. He went on to earn his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1974. While at Winona State, Drange was a member of three conference championship teams (Wrestling- 1966. 1967; Football- 1964), and a Football team captain in 1967. Drange was inducted into the Winona State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997.

What was your favorite sports memory during your time at WSU?
It was winning conference wrestling individual and team titles in 1967.

What would you say is your greatest athletic or academic accomplishment during your time at WSU?
I was honorable mention All-American in Football (1967) and All-American in Wrestling (1968) my senior year.

How has your WSU athletics experience been influential throughout your life?
WSU athletics gave me the confidence to believe that there is no limit to what you can accomplish.
Please share any recent professional or personal accomplishments.
I was a District Court Trial Judge for Minnesota's Eighth Judicial District from 1995-2012.

I am currently retired.
