What was your favorite sports memory during your time at WSU?
Placing 40th in the NSIC conference meet with a time of 25:39.5 and beating some girls out to the finish that I had worked towards all year.

What would you say is your greatest athletics and/or academic accomplishment during your time at WSU?
Placing 40th NSIC 25:39.5 and making it to the regional meet.

How has your WSU athletics experience been influential throughout your life?
After taking some time off my freshman year, I returned my sophomore year and was really motivated. I have since carried on that passion and motivation to continue running and pushing myself to new limits. I have now run 10 full marathons, countless half marathons as well as other 5 and 10k's. This last year I ventured more into trail and Ultra running, to which I was able to complete my first ultra trail marathon and am currently training for my second.  It also inspired me to not only lead by example and light that spark in my four children, but also to continue coaching and working with young athletes in many different capacities.

Please share any recent professional or personal accomplishments.
I recently placed 3rd in the Garden of the God's 10k for my age group, and ran my first ultra trail marathon last October, and am currently training for my second.

What is your current occupation?
I am currently an elementary school teacher in Holmen, Wisconsin, where my children attend school.

What advice would you give to current WSU student-athletes?
Work hard in and out of the classroom, first and foremost. Find your passion and chase after it. Continue to move your body after the season and graduation, you never know where it will take you.
