WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State Univeristy Warriors will hit the road for their first away NSIC weekend at Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston on Friday, October 4 and Sunday, October 6 at 4 p.m. and 1 p.m.
The Warriors look to take the battle to the road as they head on their first NSIC road trip of the season. WSU starts their road trip at Bemidji State on Friday,m October 4 and round out the weekend at Minnesota Crookston on Sunday, October 6. The Warriors are looking to go into the weekend match ups strong with the momentum from their win against Northern State.
Winona State Notes:
- Sarah Strating leads the team in shots (8) and shots-on-goal (5).
- Abigail Williams leads the team in goals (2).
- Jacey Sturek leads the team in assists (3), which puts her sixth in the NSIC.
- Both Cathryn Hudak and Williams have game winning goals, which puts them eighth and ninth in the NSIC.
- Williams is seventeenth in the NSIC with points.
- Alyson Jumper comes in eleventh in goals against average (1.374), sixteenth in saves (17), thirteenth in shutouts (1), and fourteenth in saves per game (2.83) in the NSIC.
