WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State Univeristy Warriors will hit the road for their final regular season game at Wayne State College on Thursday, November 7.
The Warriors are coming off a hard fought 1-1 tie against the St. Cloud State Huskies and a well deserved 1-0 win against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on their final weekend road trip of the season.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 6-7-2 overall and 5-7-1 in the NSIC
- Kyleigh Jannisch, Catheryn Hudak, and Abigail Williams all have two goals a piece.
- Jacey Sturek lead the team with five assists, which puts her eighth in the NSIC.
- Sarah Strating leads the Warriors with shots on goal with 14 and 23 total shots.
- Hudak leads the team with two game winning goals, which is tenth in the NSIC.
- Alyson Jumper has collected 61 saves with a .792 save percentage.
Wayne State Notes:
- The Wildcats are 6-6-5 overall and 5-4-4 in the NSIC.
- Alaina Sorensen leads the team with six goals on the season.
- Maia Vacks leads the team with six assists.
- Paige Pemerton leads the Wildcats with 30 shots and 14 shots on goal along with Morgan Rhodes.
- Sidney Truman has collected 81 saves on the season with a .810 save percentage.
The Winona State University Warriors will travel down to play the Wayne State College Wildcats on Thursday, November 7 with kickoff set for 3p.m. for their regular season finale.
