WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's basketball team prepares for an NSIC Conference week where they are on the road against Minnesota Duluth on Wednesday, December 18th at 5:30pm and home in McCown Gymnasium against #13 Minnesota State on Saturday, December 21st.
 
In their last contest, Winona State fell short against conference opponent Southwest Minnesota State 93-64. Olivia Gamoke led the team in scoring with 16 points on 6-13 (46.2%) shooting from the field, along with five rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
 
Winona State Notes:

• The 2024 campaign will feature 14 home games and 12 away games, Winona State finished 6-6 at home last season and 6-6 at home in 2022.
• Currently holding a record of 6-5, Winona State is ranked ninth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

• Mya Moorjani is leading the team in scoring with an average of 14.9 points per game. She is also leading the team in minutes with an average of 34 per game and assists with an average of 4.2 per game.
• Lexi Karge is leading the team in rebounds with an average of 6.6 per game.
• Karge and Johanna Miller are leading the team in blocks with an average of 0.8 per game.
• Claire Bjorge is leading the team in steals with an average of 1.2 per game.
