MANKATO, Minn. -
Kaylee Beyer set a new NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships record and took home a pair of first-place finishes, leading Winona State to a sixth-place finish at the 2024 NSIC Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 24, in Mankato, Minn.
Beyer set a new NSIC record in the mile run with a time of 4:38.20, a pace that also established a new facility record for the Myers Field House in Mankato. Beyer's mile mark is the second fastest in the NCAA Division II ranks this season and sets a new WSU all-time best, breaking Beyer's previous time of 4:43.24, set earlier this year. The Mukwonago, Wis. product doubled-up on first-place honors, also winning the women's 1,000 meter race, turning in a time of 2:49.47 for the win. Beyer established a new Winona State record in the 1000 meters, beating her own time of 2:54.73 set in 2022.
Hanna Reichenberger claimed a sixth place finish in the 60 meter hurdles, running a time of 8.886, besting her prelim time of 8.889. Reichenberger owns the WSU all-time best time of 8.78 in the event and her time in Mankato on Saturday is tied for 40th in the country in NCAA Division II this year. In the field events, Reichenberger took seventh with a 11.75m (38-06.75) effort.

Jenna Anders took eighth in the 800 meters, running a time of 2:28.02, while Warrior teammate Sam Harke ran 3:05.62 in the 1000 meters, good for eighth overall.
Kaylee Olson was ninth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.55m (18-02.50).
As a team, Winona State finished with 27 points, good for a sixth-place tie with Northern State. Minnesota State won the women's championship with a team score of 228.5, while the University of Mary earned runner up honors with 133.5.
